RIP Nyxxington

A tragic ending. Unexpected departure;

She was scheduled to be here within the month. But didn’t make it. She passed away the night before. Left the shell of the most beautiful companion anyone could ask for. As heartbreaking as this moment is. I am grateful for our meeting and the adventures we had together; she played hide and seek. To sneaking in the baby crib. She was there when you called. Got stuck in a tree, chased by dogs. She was incredible.

Guilt and shame showered my very soul the seconds the words left my husband’s mouth as he said the words in the form of thorns sinking deep into my heart. I broke.

But still, it’s a beautiful event of what is a natural occurrence, a reminder of what being a human is all about.
